Donut Division Glossary

31 terms covering Gooey Guns, Pay Anywhere mechanic, Bonus Choice (Stakeout vs Warehouse), and the 12,500x max win path.

Autoplay

Donut Division's automatic spin loop. Set 10-1,000 spins with optional stop conditions (loss limit, single-win threshold, bonus trigger). Useful for grinding through base-game spins between bonus triggers (~1 in 160).

Base Game

Donut Division's standard 6×5 grid before bonus triggers. Pay Anywhere mechanic — 8+ identical symbols anywhere on the grid count. Base game contributes ~40% of total 96.30% RTP; the other 60% flows through bonus rounds.

Bonus Buy

Donut Division's direct bonus purchase. Four buy tiers: Stakeout 80x, Warehouse 120x, Super Stakeout 300x, Super Warehouse 500x. Bonus buy RTPs: 96.26%-96.34% (slight variance vs base 96.30%). UK, Sweden, and Ontario restrict bonus buy.

Bonus Choice

Donut Division's signature decision mechanic. Land 3 scatters → choose Stakeout OR Warehouse Bonus. Land 4+ scatters → Super versions unlock. The choice changes how the round plays, not the long-term RTP.

Cascading Reels

Donut Division doesn't use cascades. Each spin is independent — no symbol replacement after wins. Pay Anywhere mechanic resolves on the initial spin.

Cluster Pays

Donut Division uses Pay Anywhere rather than connected clusters. 8+ matching symbols anywhere on the grid pay — no adjacency required. Different from Sweet Bonanza or Reactoonz which require connected clusters.

Dead Spin

Donut Division's no-pay outcome. ~71% of spins are dead (no payout). Hit frequency ~29%. The math model concentrates payouts into the 29% of paying spins plus rare bonus rounds.

Feature Buy

Donut Division's alternative term for Bonus Buy. The Feature Buy menu has 4 options: Stakeout (80x), Warehouse (120x), Super Stakeout (300x), Super Warehouse (500x). Each maintains roughly 96.30% RTP within ±0.04%.

Free Spins

Donut Division's Stakeout Bonus is the closest equivalent — Free Spins mode where Gooey Gun frequency is significantly boosted. Number of spins varies; the round typically resolves in 6-12 spins. Super Stakeout guarantees returning Gooey Guns each spin.

Gooey Guns

Donut Division's headline mechanic. Green Gooey Gun symbol lands on any reel, shoots Gooey Wild symbols to every position LEFT of it on the same row. The gun itself turns into a Wild. So a gun on reel 5 = up to 4 additional Wilds + itself = 5 Wilds across that row.

Gooey Wilds

Donut Division's multiplier-bearing Wild symbols created by Gooey Guns. Each Gooey Wild inherits a random multiplier between 1x and 100x. Multipliers compound multiplicatively when multiple Gooey Wilds participate in the same winning cluster.

Grid Layout

Donut Division's 6×5 grid — 30 positions total. Pay Anywhere mechanic counts 8+ matching symbols regardless of position. With 30 positions, you have a ~1-in-3.4 chance of landing some win each spin.

Hit Frequency

Donut Division's ~29% hit frequency. Roughly 1 in 3.4 spins produces a payout. Higher than Hacksaw's extreme-volatility titles (Dork Unit ~22%, Wanted Dead or a Wild ~24%). Medium-volatility design philosophy.

House Edge

Donut Division's ~3.70% house edge (100% - 96.30%). Standard for medium-volatility slots. The edge is distributed across all spin outcomes — no single bet type carries different EV.

Lives System

Donut Division's Warehouse Bonus 3-life mechanic. You start with 3 lives; each spin without a value-finding hit costs 1 life. Hitting any value refills all 3 lives. Bonus continues until lives run out. Good Warehouse runs accumulate 15-30 multiplier reveals.

Max Win

Donut Division's 12,500x cap per round. Probability per round: ~1 in 3,500,000. Once hit, the round ends immediately. Reachable primarily via Super Warehouse runs with multiplier stacks or extreme Gooey Gun chains.

Megaways

Donut Division does NOT use Megaways. Fixed 6×5 grid with Pay Anywhere. Megaways games (Big Time Gaming) have variable symbols per reel.

Multiplier

Donut Division's payout boost. Gooey Wild multipliers 1x-100x compound multiplicatively. Two 50x Wilds in the same cluster = 2,500x on that win, not 100x. Warehouse Bonus has both additive (+5x) and multiplicative (×3x) multiplier symbols.

Pay Anywhere

Donut Division's core win mechanic. 8+ identical symbols anywhere on the 30-position grid pay. No payline requirement, no connection requirement. Cluster size scales payouts: 8 symbols = base, 15+ symbols = max for that tier.

Paytable

Donut Division's symbol values. Card symbols (10-A) pay 0.3x-1.5x. Premium symbols (donuts, cops, robbers) pay 0.5x-15x. Gooey Gun symbol acts as Wild + multiplier amplifier rather than direct paytable value.

RNG

Donut Division uses certified Random Number Generator from BMM Testlabs. Each spin and bonus outcome independent — no memory between rounds. Gooey Gun placement, multiplier value assignment, and bonus path all RNG-determined.

RTP

Donut Division returns 96.30% as base. Some operators may use lower RTP variants (94.29%, 92.26%) — always check the game info panel. Bonus buy RTPs: 96.26%-96.34% depending on tier.

Scatter

Donut Division's bonus-triggering symbol. 3 scatters anywhere = Bonus Choice (Stakeout vs Warehouse). 4+ scatters = Super versions unlock. Scatter symbol rarity drives the ~1 in 160 spin trigger frequency.

Stakeout Bonus

Donut Division's Free Spins-style bonus. Maintains base-game mechanics but boosts Gooey Gun frequency and multiplier rarity significantly. Average return: ~45x stake per round. Super Stakeout guarantees recurring Gooey Guns each spin.

Sticky Wild

Donut Division doesn't use Sticky Wilds in the traditional sense. Gooey Wilds resolve once per spin — they don't carry over. Warehouse Bonus revealed values DO stick within the round, accumulating until lives run out.

Super Features

Donut Division's premium tier bonuses. Triggered by 4+ scatters or 300x/500x Feature Buy. Super Stakeout guarantees returning Gooey Guns; Super Warehouse guarantees minimum 5x multipliers on revealed values. Higher base variance, larger expected payouts.

Theme

Donut Division's playful cop-versus-robbers, donut-shop aesthetic. Hacksaw's distinctive cartoon-art style. Donut, badge, handcuff, and goo-gun symbols populate the grid. Animated 60fps cop chases during bonus reveals.

Volatility

Donut Division is rated Medium (3/5). Unlike Hacksaw's extreme-volatility titles (Dork Unit 5/5, Wanted Dead 5/5), Donut Division is one of their more accessible offerings. 29% hit frequency, fewer extreme dry spells.

Warehouse Bonus

Donut Division's Hold and Win-style bonus. 3-life mechanic, flashlight reveal grid, additive AND multiplicative multipliers. Average return: ~55x stake per round (higher variance than Stakeout). Super Warehouse guarantees minimum 5x reveals.

Ways to Win

Donut Division doesn't use ways-to-win. Pay Anywhere mechanic effectively gives unlimited combinations — any 8+ matching symbols anywhere count, regardless of position.

Wild

Donut Division's Gooey Wild symbols. Created by Gooey Guns. Substitute for any regular paying symbol (except scatters). Each carries a 1x-100x multiplier. Wild count per spin can reach 10+ in Stakeout Bonus rounds.
